REGINA PATS TAKE

Action takes place tonight 7:00 at the Rexall Place on 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pre-game Show at 6:35 pm). The Pats will have to play alot better then they have in the last three games to even come close to Edmonton.

Regina Pats score three goals in the third period to defeat Edmonton Oil Kings 6-3.

Regina Pats are now 5-1 on the road.

First Period:

Scoring: Regina Pats scored first on a 5 on 3 power play. A pass from behind the net to Morgan Klimchuk scored on a back hand shot at 8:05, assisted by Colton Jobke and Diminik Volek. Just over three minutes later Edmonton tied the score as Keegan Lowe shot and Regina Pats netminder gave a big rebound to T.J. Foster who scored from the point, also assisted by Goaltender Laurent Brossoit.

Second Period:

Scoring:
Regina Pats went up 2-1 when Lyndon Martell poked Underwood's shot out of the air and scored at 14:38, assisted by Brandon Underwood and Matt Marantz. Edmonton tied the score at 2-2 as Klarc Wilson went down the boards then banked the puck off Regina Pat players, as Pat goaltender Matt Hewitt was caught going the wrong way at 18:10, unassisted.

Penalties: 11:13 Edmonton - Michael St. Croix (Hooking)

Score: Tied 2-2; Shots: Regina Pats 14-12

Third Period:

Scoring: Regina Pats again go up 3-2 as Brandon Davidson scored on a hard shot from the point at 4:34, assisted by Matt Marantz and Brandon Underwood. Three time Edmonton comes back around four minutes later. This time it was Dylan Wruck scoring off Regina Pats Defenceman Jobke at 8:40, assisted by martin Gernat and Michael St. Croix.

At the 12:25 mark Regina Pats Dyson Stevenson went hard into the boards. Both team trainers assisted and he was taken off by stretcher, (it was his leg). Regina Pats go up 4-3 as Dryden takes a shot and Jordan Weal scored on the rebound at 14:33, also assisted by K. Burroughs

Regina Pats Bullough was allowed to walk in a score at 18:45. Less then one minute later Regina Pats on a power play had Brydon Davidson shot from 150 feet away into the empty net.
