Regina Pats General Manager, Chad Lang would like to announce the acquisition of 20 year old forward, Matt Marantz from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
Marantz, a native of Calgary, Alberta, began the season with the Spokane Chiefs before being sent to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on September 29th, 2011. This season between the Chiefs and Hurricanes, Marantz has 5 assists in 7 games. Last season with the Chiefs, Matt had 20 goals and 22 assists in 68 games while having an outstanding +21.
Matt will join defencemen Artem Bidlevskii and Brandon Davidson as the three Pat 20 year old players.
