Position: F Date of Birth: 09/02/1991 Height: 5' 11" Weight: 195 lbs Pro Experience: Hershey Bears Shoots: R Resides: Regina, SK Biography: Mitchell recently completed his junior career with his hometown Regina Pats of the WHL (2006-11) gathering 51 goals and 61 assists for 112 points in 264 games. A sixth-round draft pick by the Washington Capitals in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Mitchell served as team captain of the Pats during his final season. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound defenseman also saw AHL action after the 2009-10 and 2010-11 WHL seasons with the Hershey Bears, appearing in three games.

His first game with South Carolina Stingrays is tonight, as they host the Greenville Road Warriors.
