REGINA PATS - 13th. ANNUAL DOUG WICKENHEISER GOLF CLASSIC - MONDAY, AUGUST 13th.

This years’ Wickenheiser Classic is being held on Monday, August 16^th at the Wascana Golf and Country Club. All proceeds raised will go towards the Palliative Care Caring Hearts Camp.

SCOREBOARD

Ron "Scoreboard" JOHNSTON - I joined the Regina Pats in 1965-66 season, when Manager Del Wilson was looking for a Statistician. I was with the club until 1974, then returned in 1977-78 season when Coach-Manager Lorne Davis asked me to help the team - I received my nickname, prior to the first league game in 1964, at Moose. I was in the dressing room about to leave, when Ernie Hicke called, "Hey Scoreboard", I turned around and responded, and it has stuck with me to this day.
