The Pats visit the Saskatoon Blades tonight at 7:00 p.m. on 620 CKRM, Broadcaster Rod Pedersen and Colorman Dan Plaster (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 p.m.). Jordan Eberle goes into nights game three points up on linemate Jordan Weal for the WHL League Scoring lead, and four points up on Calgary's Brandon Kozun. Eberle's also four goals shy of 50. It's the third-last Pats game of the year.
GAME SUMMARY - by: Ron "Scoreboard" Johnston - It was all Regina Pats, by the mid point the shots were 11-4. Jordan Eberle scored as he tipped in Mitch McColm's shot at 9:04, assisted by Myles Bell. It was almost Regina Pats 2-0, but Lefller hit the goal post, they out shot Saskatoon 18-5.
In the second period Jordan Eberle almost scored his second at the 4 minute, but his the goal post on the goal tender's glove side. Just 18 seconds later he did score as he tipped in Jordan Weal's shot, also assisted by Hampus Gustafsson. With Weal's assist he reached 100 points. After just over 4 periods of shutting out Saskatoon they scored at the 19:18 mark. Stefan Elliott was allowed to walk in and score on his own rebound, assisted by Walker Wintoneak and Gaelan Patterson.
Regina Pats went up 3-1 as they got a 3 on 2 break. Myles bell recieved a nice pass from Mudler at 3:29, assisted by Colten Teubert. Saskatoon's Derek Hulak scored at 14:37, assisted by Elliott and Manek Viedensky, making 3-2. Just over a minute remaining in the period (1:20 left), Saskatoon pulled their goal, but just could not score.
