KOOTENAY ICE - 2 vs. REGINA PATS - 1 (SO)

Kootenay Ice play the Regina tonight 7:00 pm at the Brandt Centre and at 6:35 Pre-Game Show 620 CKRM with Broadcaster Rod Pedersen and Colorman Mitchell Blair. Tonight's game is the make-up game from Sunday January 24th's postponement because of Kootenay being stranded in Saskatoon due to the bad snow storm.

Kootenay's record is 16-1-1-0 in their last 18 games, and are one of the hottest teams in all of the WHL. Due to the streak, they have now climbed into 3rd spot in the Central Division and 5th in the Conference. While the Regina Pats enter the game eight points out of a playoff spot with only 20 games remaining. The Pats last game was Saturday at the Moose Jaw Crush Can when Warriors were victorious 4-1. Bosch continues to trouble former team

GAME SUMMARY: By: Ron C. Johnston - In the first period there was no scoring. It wasn't until about two minutes remaining that the first goal of the game was scored. Kootenay Ice had a 5 on 3 power play in the second period and Matt Fraser scored at 19:22, assisted by Dominik Pacovsky and Steele Boomer.

Regina Pats tied the game at 1-1 in the third period on a power play when Jordan Weal passed the puck out infront of the net, and Jordan Eberle scored at 4:11, also assisted by Cody Carlson. There was no further scoring, also in over time, forcing a shoot out.
