GAME SUMMARY: by Ron "Scoreboard" Johnston - All the Canadian Junior Team needed was a goal in each period, as they downed the Finland Junior Squad 3-0 at Calgary. Regina Pats Jordan Eberle figured in two of the goals and Finland's goaltender Joni Ortio was a stand out for the Fins. Finland had their chances, but went o for 9 on the power play. In the third period at the 5 minute mark they had a disallowed goal, when one of the played kicked the puck in at the goal crease.

It was Jordan Eberle taking the puck down the right side boards, skating around behind the net and on the left side passed out to the centre where Alex Pietrangelo recieved the pass. He moved to the left and shot, scoring at the 13:23 mark, also assisted by Braydon Schenn.

In the second period, Taylor Hall, parked at the right side of the net recieved a pass at the left circle from Brandon Kozun and scored at 2:03, also assisted by marco Scandella.

Jordan Eberle at the centre ice passed to Brandon McMillan who was home free, with only the goalie to beat, he back handed the puck into the net at the 14:51 mark.
