GAME SUMMARY: Regina Pats had been out shooting Spokane 8-1, but it was the Chiefs who scored first. Tyler Johnson, cut to the net through the Pats team and back handed at 11:05, assisted by Levko Koper. Final shots - Regina 10, Spokane 7.

In the second period, a bad turn over by Regina's Defenceman Alex Pym at Spokane Blue Line resulted in their second goal. It was Kenton Miller, a break-a-way unassisted at 2:10. All Regina Pats could do was have Jordan Eberle hit the cross bar, while Brett Leffler hit the goal post.
