REGINA PAT - 2 vs. SEATTLE THUNDERBIRDS - 5

Regina Pats will visit the Seattle Thunderbirds Tonight at the new ShoWare Centre, (opened last year) Kent, Washington, U.S.A. - 9:05 p.m. (Regina Time) 8:40 p.m. Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show on 620 CKRM with Dan Plaster as the broadcaster. With a win Pats would move into third place, one point ahead of Moose Jaw and only one point behind second place Brandon, who are both idle this evening.





GAME SUMMARY: Regina Pats opened the scoring when Garrett Mitchell scored on a 2 man short handed break-a-way goal at 13:16. Seattle tied the score at 1-1 on a mad scramble infront of the net. A shot from Scott Ramsay at the left circle that went of Pat goalie Damen ketlo's right block straight to Prab Rai parked at the right post, scoring at 16:48.

Two early period goals by Seattle made it 3-1. Charles Wells a short handed goal at 2:39 and Sean Acolate carried the puck down the left boards and passed to Jonathan Parker who was cutting toward the net and scored at 7:54, assisted by Tyler Alos and Stefan Warg. Seattle went up 4-1 on a 5 on 3 power play by Jeremy Schappert at 13:16, assisted by Sena Acolate and Rai.

In the third period Seattle scored a power play goal by Schappert at 10:38, assisted by Rai and Warg. Regina Pats scored their second short handed goal by Matt Scrueby at 19:48, assisted by Hampus Gustaffson. Final score, Seattle 5-2.
