GAME SUMMARY: Regina Pats opened the scoring early in the game as Graham Hood from the left side of the net scored on a Brett Leffler rebound from the back boards at 1:48. At the mid point Pats were out shoting Swift Current 10-1. Swift Current tied the game on a 4 on 3 Power Play goal by Cody Eakin off the cross bar, assisted by Justin Dowling and Brad Hobin. Pats went up 2-1 when Jordan Weal scored at 13:17 from the left side of the net, as he received a pass from Jordan Eberle at the left face-off circle, also assisted by Colten Teubert.

Regina took a 3-1 lead, when Import Hampus Gustaffson, scored a power play goal, his first, from the right side of the net, when he received a cross goal pass from Eberle at 6:26, also assisted by Weal. It was Pats 4-1 when Eberle stole the puck at Regina's blue line and scored a short handed goal on a break-a-way at 17:36.

Swift Current made it 4-2 when Eakin scored his second goal of the game, a 4 on 3 power play goal off the cross bar at 11:34, assisted by Justin Dowling and Brad Hobin. Regina Pats scored the final goal by Graham Hood, his second goal a shot from the right side up under the bar at 7:44, assisted by Cody Carlson.
