GAME SUMMARY: Swift Current's Michael Strickland was right infront of the net, as he scored off the goal post at 9:15, assisted by Cody Eakin and Brad Hoban. Regina Pats tied the score at 1-1 when Jordan Weal went in on the net from the right side, scoring as he knocked the puck out of the air at 15:44, assisted by Jordan Eberle.

At the mid point of the second period, a shot that was deflected over the Regina Pats net, hit one of the new sky boxes windows, scattering, taking a twenty minute delay. No scoring during the period.

With only 16.7 seconds remaining in the game, Swift Current Cody Eakin, a wrist shot scored on a Regina Pats turnover. With only 5 seconds left, Jordan Eberle had a break-a-way only to be stopped by Morgan Clark's left kicking pad.
