In addition to the 4,500-seat multi-purpose arena, the downtown facility will include an eight-sheet curling rink with a lounge and viewing area and a separate soccer and fieldhouse facility, with 6,000 square metres of playing area.

Moose Jaw - The Warriors were on site for the official sod turning for the new Multiplex this morning at 11:00 a.m. Premier Brad Wall, Mayor Dale McBain, MLA Warren Michelson and MLA Ray Boughen brought greetings to the crowd gathered to mark the historic event.
Warriors Captain, Jason Bast represented the team along side Warriors President Chad Taylor, Head Coach Dave Hunchak and Moose Jaw Mayor Dale McBain as four golden shovels struck ground.

The sod turning marks the official start of construction. The multiplex is expected to reach completion for the 2011/2012 season.
